Amerijet joins IATA Innovation Awarded Claims Platform

Amsterdam (October 29, 2018) – As per the first of October, the IATA cargo innovation awarded CargoClaims platform has welcomed Amerijet as a new member. CargoHub provides a standardized and optimized claim handling process which helps forwarders and direct shippers to quickly resolve claims in a consistent way across multiple carriers. In its ongoing mission to deliver the best customer service, Amerijet has now joined the platform to offer their customers the best experience when dealing with cargo claims.

IATA Innovation AwardThe ceremonial signing took place at the Centara World Convention Center during the IATA Cargo Claims Loss Prevention Conference in Bangkok by Mr. Vic Karjian, CEO Amerijet International and Mr. Raoul Paul, CEO of CargoHub BV.

“This new and exciting change will allow our customers to have transparency and standardization into our cargo claims process,” said Jeannine Nelson, Senior Claims and Loss Prevention Administrator at Amerijet. “The claims platform makes the process efficient and as simple as possible. The company’s new Miami facility has over 360,000 square-foot (33,500sq. meter) import/export facility and 40,000 square-foot (3,700sq. meter) perishable handling center providing refrigerated, frozen and chilled storage to maintain the cold chain integrity of pharmaceuticals and perishables during the transportation process. Advanced monitoring procedures, real-time shipment alerts, and cargo tracking provide end-to-end visibility of every shipment.
