Richard Barnes joined Amerijet as Vice President of Technology & Information Services in 2018

With over 35 years of professional experience, Richard leads all aspects of information technology, enterprise security, data analytics, project management, and business transformation. He supports Amerijet’s growth through innovative IT solutions and analytics-driven initiatives, including flight and fuel consumption programs, website development, and facilitating third-party integrations.

Richard’s responsibilities encompass the strategic development of technology and information security in alignment company objectives and delivering the necessary informational analytics to support timely business decisions. His multifaceted role extends to managing corporate communications and marketing initiatives, contributing to Amerijet’s overarching goals of efficiency and excellence in air cargo transportation.

Prior to joining Amerijet, Richard served as CIO and VP, Human Resources at United Maritime Group, VP of Information Technology at Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, and Director of information technology strategy for Polaroid film and camera manufacturing.

Richard holds a degree in Production Engineering from Nottingham Trent University.  He is a native of the UK, an avid golfer, a proficient cook and enjoys both of those with his family and friends.
