James Istre, Sr. Director Engineer Planning and Materials joined Amerijet in 2017. As a licensed aircraft engineer with 39 years of experience in the aviation industry, James is responsible for driving the engineering and maintenance strategies for Amerijet’s aircraft operations.

Prior to joining Amerijet, James served in several leadership positions including Engine Fleet Manager at ASL Airlines in Switzerland and Director of Engineering at Falcon Express Cargo Airlines in Dubai. James graduated from Houston Community College Aviation Program (Rice Aviation) holding a US A&P License as well as a UAE GCAA B1 & C Base Maintenance Licenses.
