Chief Pilot

Captain Hector Gonzalez brings more than 32 years of aviation experience to Amerijet. He has held various line, training and management positions including Instructor, Check Airman, EFB Manager, Director of Training and Chief Pilot. He has worked for several major airlines domestic and international including, Avensa Airlines, MaxJet Airways, Sky King, Ethiopian Airlines, and Eastern Air lines.

His qualifications include a current Airline Transport Pilot certificate with type ratings on the B727, B737, B757, B767, DC9 and Convair 580. Hector has over 15,000 hours of flight experience.

As the Chief Pilot Hector is responsible for formulating policies and procedures governing flight crews and flight crew operating procedures, he is also responsible for flight crew support, discipline and adherence to Amerijet operational policies.
