Dear Valued Customer:
All airlines serving Haiti have been faced with many challenges and continue to adapt to changes since the earthquake struck. We understand that operations into Haiti are critical and we will continue to provide the best service possible. However, Amerijet cannot continue to absorb the increased costs due to uncontrollable operational changes and expenses. At this time, an increase in your existing contract rates to Haiti is unavoidable.
Your new contract rates to Haiti have been emailed to you on January 26t, 2010. If you did not receive the email, please contact your local Amerijet representative immediately.
The new rates do not include Amerijet's customary accessorial charges and they will be applied to all shipments received after January 28th, 2010 and are not disputable. Amerijet's GCX rates will only apply to shipments requiring guaranteed cargo space service.
As conditions change, we will keep you informed and we are hopeful that we will be able to return to our regular pricing structure. Your continued support and understanding during this difficult and challenging time is very much appreciated.
Please contact your local Amerijet representative for additional information.
