AMERIJET INTERNATIONAL OPENS NEW, BROOKLYN
CARGO FACILITY
FT. LAUDERDALE, FL – Amerijet International will open a new Brooklyn,
NY International export air freight station at 1263 Utica
Avenue on Monday, July 2, 2007.
The 2,000-square-foot station is Amerijet’s second in the region,
as the company has operated out of JFK since 1989. Amerijet
provides scheduled, all-cargo transportation between the
northeast U.S. and the Caribbean/Latin American region, as
well as the rest of the world.
“This office offers more convenient service for our customers,” said
NY Regional Manager Rich Hernandez. “Many of our customers in this
area ship primarily personal goods to friends and family
in their native countries. Amerijet has extensive experience
shipping all over the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South
America, and we have scheduled service to most destinations. We will
provide twice-a-day transfer from this station to our regional facility
at JFK.”
Hernandez said Amerijet also will offer local pick-up and
delivery services from its Brooklyn station, and arrange for inbound
transfers if requested.
The Brooklyn facility will be open from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday
through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The
