AMERIJET TO OPEN FORT LAUDERDALE CARGO DROP STATION
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Amerijet
International will open a Fort Lauderdale air freight station on April
2, 2007, announced Pamela Rollins, Amerijet’s VP of Business Development.
The station is located adjacent to Amerijet’s corporate headquarters
at 2800 South Andrews Avenue.
“We have a lot of customers in Broward, Palm Beach and even Martin
counties that will enjoy the additional convenience of this station,” Rollins
said. “Eventually, we will expand this location to offer
ocean services and delivery of import cargo, to make shipping with us
even easier.”
Amerijet will accept outbound international air freight at this station,
including general personal and commercial cargo, large or
small packages, barrels, valuable and fragile goods, hazardous
material, and oversized shipments.
Hours of operation will be 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Amerijet will transport
cargo between this station and its Miami hub via daily ground transfer.
