FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Ft. Lauderdale-based Amerijet International has completed the purchase of two Boeing Super-27 aircraft from Willis Lease Finance Corporation. The purchase increases Amerijet’s fleet of aircraft to a total of eight jets. Terms of the purchase were undisclosed.

According to Pamela Rollins, Amerijet’s Vice President of Business Development, the two new jets are scheduled to begin service by September 2004.

“These jets add depth and diversity to our fleet,” Rollins said. “They also enable us to open up certain additional Latin American routes we have been evaluating.”

Willis Lease Finance Corporation (NASDAQ: WLFC), based in Sausalito, California, primarily leases spare commercial aircraft engines, parts, and aircraft to commercial airlines, aircraft engine manufacturers and maintenance, repair and overhaul providers. The company reports assets of more than $551million.
